Quality

...............................................................................

In February 2003, WFS (Belgium) received the ISO9001-2000 certificate as a reward for the continuous efforts to provide a good and tailor-made service to its customers, both airlines and customs  agencies.

This recognition was only the beginning of a never ending ambition to improve ourselves and our company, to provide better service to our customers (both airlines, GSA's an forwarders) and, if possible, fulfill our customers wishes.

To further establish our commitment to quality in air cargo handling, Worldwide Flight Services joined the Cargo2000 project as an "associate member", to assist airlines and forwarders in allowing to trace all shipments throughout the supply chain.  Currently WFS is working on receiving the Cargo2000 certification from IATA.

However, quality is more than having the proper certificates on the wall.  It is something that needs to be worked on in the day to day operations.  Therefore we regularly sit down with our customers and ask them to analyze and comment our services.  Most airlines add SLA's (Service Level Agreements) to their contracts to have tools in place to judge our services in an objective manner.

New in 2007 was the introduction of the Brussels Airport SLA.  This airport SLA was created to look at the timely handling of import shipments at the handlers.  The result of this SLA will be published and used as a sales tool for interested airlines.

If you would like to participate in our forwarder customer questionnaire program, please contact Arnaud De Bakker, quality manager WFS Belgium, at 0478/34.44.46 for further information.
